I know that, nowadays, human beings are confronted with lots of existential issues in terms of depressed mood, anxious mood, loneliness, anger, and obsessive thought. As a counselor who is trained in Master of Art in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, and is a philosopher by training and got his Ph.D. from the UK; I love to build up and maintain my therapeutic alliance with the clients who deal with the issues and are planning to improve their mental health. I know that the counseling relationship is a journey, in which the client and therapist, as co-travelers, go ahead step by step throughout counseling sessions.
As a counselor who likes humanistic relationships, I will do my best to improve my clients' mental health, through utilizing the methods of CBT, PCT, SFT, MBCT, Logotherapy, and Existential Psychotherapy. Moreover, I do Group Therapy as a co-therapist.
Empathizing with a client and looking at the world from her/his window and lens has a key role in building up and maintaining a firm therapeutic alliance. As a philosopher who is familiar with Stoicism and the importance of the concept ‘attitude’, I try to make counseling relationships with my clients in this way.
